Decided to read all the back issues of the cartoon Unshelved today. Unshelved features the adventures of a young adults librarian called Dewey, his nice new boss lady, another librarian lady who is a fierce ex-army seal but loves romance novels, and a teenage school-skipper called Merv. It all makes me very nostalgic for my public library days and I ask myself, could I write a cartoon every day about things that happen in my library? It would be much easier to write a cartoon about the wierd things that happen at my family dinner table every night, I suspect.
