The result of the elections in Britain surprised most of those who had thought of several neat scenarios of what would happen to Libraries in the event of any of the party manifestos being put into practice. Now that we have a co-alition government it is difficult to know what will be around the corner, but the Queen's speech mentioned that a Health Bill will be part of the coming parliamentary programme.
