QIPP

QIPP stands for 'quality, innovation, productivity and prevention' (the acronym was coined by the Department of Health last year). The NHS Evidence website is soon to include a "QIPP Collection" - "a selection of evidence-based examples showing where you can iimprove and maintain quality of care and improve productivity at the same time" according to Dr Gillian Leng of NICE, writing in an article in CILIP's Library and Information Update for August (see 'NHS Evidence- What are the Next Steps' p. 14)
